Community Science through High Park's Ecosystems
By Aira & Yufei, High Park Nature Centre

WALK DETAILS:
Join us on a walk through the wetlands, savannahs, and forests of High Park, and discover how community science projects can be a key tool in understanding plant and animal communities - now more important than ever with the challenges of climate change. We'll explore the root of the matter behind community science.
As we move through the different ecosystems, we'll learn how local knowledge and community engagement can help scientists better understand and care for our environment in the face of climate change. By participating in scientific research and monitoring, we can make a positive impact in our communities and beyond!
