Relationships are really important. They keep us happy, healthy and safe. Neighbours look out for each other, lend a hand or a cup of sugar, feel connected with a smile and wave, share sympathy and tools, swap advice and clothing, hang out for coffee, share stories in the lobby, porch or park, and so much more.
During this casual walk, we’ll have a chance to meet our neighbours, introduce ourselves, visit places in the neighbourhood where people connect, chat about how folks are already taking care of each other, and brainstorm about how we could build our mutual aid and care network to help keep each other happy, healthy and safe.
