WALK DETAILS:

Join us in this exploration of community activism with Friends of Kensington Market (celebrating its 10th anniversary this year!) and the Kensington Market Community Land Trust. We will look back at past battles, both won and lost, notably against Loblaws, Walmart, and ghost hotels, as well as the current work of the land trust and FOKM.

 

We will see and feel how these issues have shaped the neighbourhood. What will the future look like?
