WALK DETAILS:
What defines a good photograph and distinguishes it from a mediocre one? We’ve all shot lackluster images that leave us disappointed, but have you ever tried to pinpoint exactly what went wrong? The secret to increasing the success of your photographs doesn’t necessarily lie in buying a high-end camera or fancy equipment.
In this PhotoMojo Walkshop, we’ll discuss an alternative approach to photography that can instantly elevate the quality of your images! With our mindshift framework, broken down into 8 easy-to-understand pointers, you’ll be able to completely transform your photographic perspective immediately — no technical knowledge or fancy cameras needed! Even your trusty phone camera will suffice.
As we meander, we’ll visit two CONTACT Photography Festival exhibitions, delve into the 8 crucial aspects of the framework, and pause for hands-on practice and photo discussions. We’ll finish our walkshop at a local coffee shop, where we can sip, savor, and share tips and favourite photo locations around the city.
There will be 2 PhotoMojo Walkshops, each exploring different exhibitions in different parts of the city. Each walkshop will focus on different aspects of the framework in discussing the exhibitions and practice shoots. But I would love to hear everyone else’s ideas, too!
Because this is a Jane’s Walk, I’m hoping you will all share your photo tips and favourite shooting locations around the city with everyone. I want this to be a lively conversation and opportunity to learn from each other.
