This walk is about the recent past and the coming future of the western waterfront from Spadina to Bathurst.
We'll begin at the new Spadina Quay Wetland and the Toronto Music Garden, both of which showcase the wonderful changes taking place, and then move on to places of the past, Ireland Park, the Billy Bishop Airport, and Little Norway Park. We'll stroll by the site of Maple Leaf Stadium and then on to Coronation Park.
We'll finish at the newly renovated historic Loblaws. Lots of points of interest - a walk that Jane Jacobs would enjoy for the creative reuse of space and for the harmonious blend of natural and urban elements.
