WALK DETAILS:

The Steps of Old Lake Iroquois walk encourages dialogue about the historic and current land use along the ridge of the shoreline of the ancient Lake Iroquois. The walk goes between Spadina Road & Dufferin Street along or north of Davenport Road. It includes 8 sets of staircases. It includes stops at landmarks such as the Baldwin Steps, Casa Loma, Spadina House, the Toll Keepers Cabin, Wychwood Park and Pond, Hillcrest Park and all the neighbourhoods along the way. There is a brief break at the Wychwood Barns Farmers' Market midway with washroom accessibility.

 

RAIN DATE: Sunday, May 7 @ 11:00 a.m. if there's heavy rain. However, walk will proceed on Saturday if there's intermittent drizzle. Contact: Gary Shaul - 416-656-1919

  • Walk Start Location: Spadina Avenue and Davenport Rd. Walk leader will be wearing an orange vest with a bullhorn.

  • Walk End Location: Glenholme and Regal Road.
