Shopping downtown has always been a special event. Come learn about the grand palaces of retail that transformed the downtown area into the place to be on a Saturday. EATON'S, SIMPSONS, SAM SAM THE RECORD MAN, HUDSON'S BAY and more famous places that shaped downtown retail will be discussed on the tour.

  • Walk Start Location: Berczy Park, Front Street, east of Scott Street, one block east of Yonge. I will be near the fountain with a "Downtown Retail Tour" sign.

  • Nearest Public Transit: Union Station

  • Walk End Location: College Park
