Public for Whom? Art Walk / Roll by Artmap.ca

Emily Gillespie, Writer, Researcher Adam Cohoon, Artist, Advocate, Researcher Diane Kolin, ArtsAbly, Researcher, Waterfront Accessibility Advisory Committee

Join us for a Public Art Walk & Roll by Artmap.ca/AccessArt. The starting point is Clover Hill Park with the sculpture of Primrose the donkey. We will move together through public art, gardens, and courtyards from Clover Hill to Queen's Park. During this walk and roll, we will consider who the art is for, and introduce concepts of accessibility and key things to look for when considering access. We will also explore universal design, think about the needs of a city with an aging demographic and what it means to access art and recreation space.
