A History Lesson of Riverdale Park
Jay
Hi, I'm Jay, and I'm a passionate local Torontonian.
I believe that we live in one of the world's most fascinating cities with well over 200 years of history dating back to before Canada's confederation. It saddens me to think that downtown residents can go their entire lives without being able to experience the epic tales that took place just around the corner from their house.
Walking through every neighbourhood in Toronto would take days so this walk will take Toronto residents around Riverdale Park (both east & west). Going on this walk will allow you to:
Gain an appreciation of your city’s history through enchanting stories and tales,
Walk through what used to be one of Toronto's largest landfills (no a haven for local leisure).
Learn about the diverse communities that give Toronto it’s endearing character.
Take an afternoon to learn about the stories that shape one of the many neighbourhoods in this great city!
