Collected Elements of an Urban Park
Diane Dyson
This walk will explore, as Jane Jacobs called it, the exuberant and everyday diversity of an urban park in the city's east end. Over the past century, Greenwood Park has continued to recreate itself as a destination for local residents. Depending on which walk time chosen, we'll explore how the different elements of the park create third spaces to meet each other. On both walks, we should enjoy the view of downtown, local history, and a stroll across green spaces. The walk will be led by a local, long-time resident. All welcome to join in!
