Facadism 1: Bloor, Yorkville. University

Facadism is the most damned form of architectural conservation but in downtown Toronto, it's become default. This first Facadism walk takes in the ROM, the first Mt Sinai Hospital, the rebuilding - and facadist conservation - of Yonge Street, St Charles Tavern, the third Toronto General Hospital and weirdest of all, the Royal Canadian Military Institute. Walk ends at University-Queen for the Queen car or Osgoode subway or lunch, to be ready for Facadism 2, Financial District, starting at SE corner of Queen at Yonge at 2:00pm
