A Skateboard Jane’s Walk on Rogers Road

Grab your board and come roll with us!

Join us on Saturday, October 10 at 2 PM for Roll on Rogers, a Jane’s Walk with a twist — we’re exploring Rogers Road on skateboards.

We’ll roll through the neighbourhood together, making stops along the way to discover local stories, public art, community spaces, independent businesses and some of the people and places that give Rogers Road its character.

And no Rogers Road adventure is complete without something to eat. We’ll stop for local snacks along the route while getting to know the neighbourhood from a different perspective.

Whether you skate all the time or are simply looking for a fun way to explore the neighbourhood, come join us for an afternoon of skateboarding, stories and snacks.

The Pastel de Nata Walk is BACK! Join us and @rogersroadbia on October 18th at 11 AM. Once Toronto’s first “Little Portugal,” Rogers Road still carries its Portuguese roots and some of the sweetest are found warm in a bakery window.

Come wander with us from bakery to bakery to taste, compare, and learn the stories behind this iconic pastry, because the best way to know a place is on foot, in good company. Stay tuned for the start location!
