Biidaasige Park Wetland Walk with Turtle Protectors

Carolynne Crawley and Jenny Davis

Turtles have been here since the beginning of time but their populations are on the decline so now all 8 species are "At Risk".  Habitat loss and road mortality are the main causes of decline.  Biidaasige Park has created new habitat and turtles are moving in!  We are so excited to share about turtles, the threats they face and how you can support them.  We can all be turtle protectors! This walk is support by Park People, the City of Toronto and The Turtle Protectors.
