This walking tour will be about 100 minutes long, exploring the rich history of the development, and ongoing growth of this old community, from the Indigenous origins, on to being a landing spot for notable waves of newcomers, and the historical significance of Afro-Caribbean presence. We'll be looking at architecture, history, geography, community stories, urban design, and local gossip.
