Playgrounds of the Junction Triangle
Aurelia Dalinda
In this family-oriented walk, we will discover several parks and playgrounds in the Junction Triangle. Kids will embark on a “Playground Tour”, with an opportunity to play at each playground for 15 minutes while the parents discuss what shapes public spaces. After each visit, kids will rate what they liked, what they didn’t, and what they would change about each of the playgrounds we visit.
The Junction Triangle is home to a high density of parks and greenspaces, with several large parks serving as cornerstones to their local community. These are just four of nearly a dozen parks in the Davenport ward that could be visited in an afternoon.
We will begin at Erwin Krickhahn near Bloor St and finish at Carleton Park, just north of Dupont.
