Cabbagetown walk with a medical twist

We will discuss the history of Cabbagetown and how it was related to different medical issues from epidemics to the ecological/environmental problems affecting it. What is the medical reason why the post-war generation did not like Victorian architecture. We will see the place where the Toronto General Hospital used to stand and we will look at one of the first social housing projects in Toronto. Along the walk we will talk extensively regarding the architecture and people of that make up the charming and lovely neighbourhood of Cabbagetown.
