“Grace Under Pressure” Walking Toronto’s Sweet Spot: West Queen West, Ossington Strip, Dundas West - otherwise known as Beaconsfield Village ❤️
Darrell K. and Steve H.
A walking tour to experience “local” in an increasingly busy and always-changing neighbourhood. With stops at The Argyle Lofts, Santa Cruz Parish Church, The Drake Hotel, Lebel and Bouliane Architectural Studio, Ossington Strip, Yo Adrian coffee, and a taste of Badiali Pizza.
What is it like to live in a neighbourhood that is increasingly popular with visitors? Is Beaconsfield Village successful in striking a balance between a sustainable, liveable neighbourhood and the status of being a visitor/tourist destination?
Donations to the Parkdale Food Bank are encouraged and will be accepted on the afternoon of the walk.
