Walking the Weston Loop: Community Vision in Motion

Join SvN Architects + Planners for a Jane’s Walk through the Weston Loop – A Community-Led Vision for the Future of Weston

Toronto, ON – On Sunday, May 4th at 12:30 PM, join SvN Architects + Planners, The Weston Village Developer Group, and the Weston Village Residents’ Association for a very special Jane’s Walk exploring the Weston Loop — an emerging master plan that is being
shaped by and for the people of Weston.

This community walk is part of the annual Jane’s Walk Festival, a global event inspired by the legacy of urbanist and activist Jane Jacobs. The Weston Loop Walk will highlight a transformative planning initiative that stands out for one extraordinary reason: its deep roots in community participation.

Walk participants will hear a brief introduction before splitting into three walking groups, each led by a Loop Leader. Each group will explore one of the three proposed loops within the master plan:

 Crawford-Jones Loop
 Cruickshank-Memorial Loop
 Weston Lions Loop

Each walk will offer a chance to experience the neighborhood through a new lens, learn
about the preliminary design ideas, and—most importantly—share thoughts, hopes, and
feedback that will directly inform the future of the Weston Loop Master Plan.

SvN and The Weston Village Developer Group are working closely with local stakeholders to ensure the Weston Loop reflects not only thoughtful urban design and infrastructure, but the lived experiences and aspirations of the people who call Weston home.
